Two DVD-rw optical drives

I have two dvd\cd rw drives.
A Lite-on DVDRW SHW-160ps04
A BenQ DVD DD dw1650
When I try to set up CD recording using the native Windows burner, I see
that there is a recording tab for both drives but whem I select "enable CD
burning" for one drive, it automatically UNselects the enable button for the
other one. It seems that only one drive is supported for burning at a time.
I have tried selecting one and the other to be Master & Slaves on the
secondary IDE channel and have tried to put one on the Primary channel as
Slave. The other still as Master on the Secondary.

Does WIndows native Burning support TWO Dvd\Cd drives at once?
I can burn to either using Nero but would also like to use the Native burner
occasionally.

You might get away with it if you use two different applications, but watch
out as this much disk and cpu activity may reduce your burn speed to an
unacceptable level.

The Windows configuration/method only supports one burner at a time. Use
a third party software if you want to burn with both simultaneously.
