I am not able to turn off my computer properly.I need to click the turnoff
button twice in the start menu. When I press the turnoff button for the first
time many of the startup items end their processes but some of them remain
and again I need to click the turn off button again. Then the windows turns
off.The startup items like windows desktop search and microsoft antispyware
also do not end their processes. Please kindly suggest me a solution.

Some misbehaving program is running which doesn't shut down properly the
first time. In addition to Will's advice run a thorough scan for
malware using a combination of programs in Safe Mode. Also try some
clean boot troubleshooting.
