TS logs me off as soon as I login

Running Windows Server 2003 with Terminal Services in RD for Administration Mode.

Whenever I login it just logs me out. I don't ever see the desktop or anything, just logs me right off.

I've had this problem twice. The first time, it was the same thing, but an unrelated hardware issue had me reinstall the OS and I had hoped it would fix it. Alas, same problem.

Does anyone have any ideas? I don't have a license for terminal services, I just want to use it in RD for Administration mode.

Do you have an NVIDIA GPU with the latest drivers?

this can cause the problem. use an older driver or
disable the NVIDIA service on the remote machine when you
want to connect to it.

I do have a NVIDIA GPU, and also an ASUS Video card with the GeForce4 Chip.

The only NVIDIA service I have running is the display driver one. Is that what you're talking about.

Also, How far back should I go on the drivers?

Immediate logoffs are a known problem with some Nvidia
drivers:
Nvidia drivers 56.72 and 56.64 both cause this problem.
Nvidia 2.20 WDMs works fine.
Driver version 53.04 found here:

works OK.
Disabling the 'helper' NVIDIA service makes it work again.
