We have 30 PC's that dual boot either Win2k or Linux. We purchased
Win2k for each client. We also have 20 solaris boxes. When we setup
our Terminal server, we purchased and installed 20 CALs for the
solaris boxes, but did not purchase any additional CALS for the other
30 clients because Win2k comes with a TS CAL. We were under the
impression that because we purchase Win2k for a client that the CAL
was good for that client regardless of which operating system it was
running. Am I correct in this thinking? If so, how do I tell the
Terminal Server Licensing that I have a Win2k license (that comes with
a TS CAL)?
Thanks for any help in clearing this up for me.
