'trying to install'

When I start my PC up, it says that it is trying to install something but I
don't know what. It takes about 5 minutes and repeated pressing of the
cancel button to make it stop.

Any ideas how I can make this go away?

Hiya tawny maybe let it fully install so you can see what it is then remove
it all from your settings remove programmes in control panel --

When I just leave it, it doesn't install anything, it just comes up with an
error

Hey tawny can you tell me what the error was please. You should be able to
repeat the process and get the error. Whilst it is installing is your hard
disk working you should be able to hear it should have a flashihng light.
