Trusts between NT 4.0 and win2k

Hello,

I have a win2k forest and an NT 4.0 domain that I am
creating trusts between. However, when I try to add the NT
4 as trusting on the win 2k, I get an error "Active
Directory cannot verify the trust" and goes on about
creating the other side first and matching passwords,
which I have confirmed. at the end of the message it
says "The error returned was: The security database on the
server does not have a computer account for this
workstation trust relationship."

Is it saying I need the computer account of my win 2k dc
on the NT 4 dc or the other way? I manually added the dcs
to each other's domain, but it still didn't work when I
tried to establish the trust.

Tom, thanks for your suggestion. However, I made sure I
did it in that order. In fact I removed the trust from the
nt 4's trusted list and readded it, then removed it from
the win 2k domains that trust this domain (although I
received the error, it still added it as a non Windows
Kerberos realm) and readded it with the same password just
to make sure. That's why I'm confused. It even asked for a
user/password to verify the trust, which I provided an
account with domain admin/admin privileges. Then I got the
error.

Any other ideas?
