Trust between Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000

Hi
I'm trying to establish trust between Win2k domain
(running in mixed mode) and Windows NT 4.0 domain. Trust
should be two way. When I try to add to trusted domain
Win2k domain (I'm using Netbios name ofcourse) I get an
error: domain controler not found. Also when I check
nltest /DCNAME: domain_name I get NERR_DcNotFound.
I'm powerless. I configured WINS replication. So I'm able
to resolve all names.
I would be greatfull for any clue.

Marcins,

You are not powerless. I might suggest that you install the Support Tools
and look into using netdom to create the Trust. This will always work (
assuming, of course, that everything is in order ).
