true modem connect speed

There is a modem init code that forces the dun icon in the tray to show the
true modem connect speed. I think it's M1 or T or something like that.
Anybody remember ?

If I had the instructions for MY modem, I would not have posted this, would
I ?
 
Well since you don't have the instructions, and apparently can't be
bothered to look for them, maybe someone with a crystal ball, will
devine just exactly what modem you have in your PC and then go look it
up at www.google.com and read it to you.
