Trouble with certain sites

Internet explorer gives me a "Cannot Find Server" Message
on certian site, specifically ones that require a login.
Ex. I haven't been able to login to hotmail for the past
week. I tried changing the settings, and took the
suggestions from the error page but none have helped. If
anyone can help me, or if you need more information, my
