in the past two weeks i have been getting the following error when trying to
open one internet site. I havent experienced this error as yet when opening
any other site. The error is
Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://www.cdcovers.cc/covers
operation aborted
ok ?
I get the error on my computer (using IE 6, operating system ME)
and also my daughters computer (using IE 6, operating system XP)
I can open the site using Mozilla Firefox on both computers.
Any ideas ?

Admin are aware of the problems that Users are experiencing,in the mean time
please bear with us and use Firefox or Internet Explorer 7 both of which work
when downloading covers.

So, it appears your daughter could try using IE7...

Good luck

I can open Norton.com but not open Norton.com/nis09 or Norton.co/link using
IE6 on my laptop. These sites will open in IE6 on my desktop

Under the advanced tap of IE options unchecking the option"Enable third party
browser extensions" has corrected the problem on my laptop. This remains
checked in my desktop and does not cause a problem. Does anybody understand
what this option is doing?
