trouble w/system scan (antispyware beta 1)

Just installed antispyware beta 1. Have windows xp.
Every time a try to run a quickscan, it will begin
scanning my computer and finding spyware, and it
consistently freezes every time it starts to scan my "MGI
Photosuite" software. At this point it stops, and I
can't click anything on the screen, none of the keys work
(including control+alt+delete), and the only option I
have is to restart the computer. Can anybody tell me how
to fix this, or to make the scan skip this particular
program? Anybody have a similar experience?

I don't have the answer, but if you try reposting with a
better subject line, someone else might! This is the
right forum but you haven't included the software name in
the subject. Try again with this:
"MGI Photosuite: scan freezes on reaching it." or
something similar.
