Try modifying the Feed method of the envelopes under by selecting Envelopes
and Labels from the Tools menu, then select the Envelopes tab and then on
the Options button and then go to the Printing Options tab of the Envelope
Options dialog.

Hope this helps.

Lexmark printers are one variety, which for some unknown reason, use
composite colours instead of black to print envelopes which can result in
some strange effects. Your first steps would be to ensure that you both have
the lastest printer driver update and that the font colour used for the
envelope address and return styles is set to black and not 'auto'.

Do print an 'envelope' to your normal A4/Letter sized paper to ensure that
it actually prints in the space that would be occupied by the envelope as it
tracks through the printer.

-- Graham, thank you for the input but that did not work either. I have not down loaded anything recently from Lexmark. I will try that and thank you both for your assistance.

I also use a Lexmark X1254 printer that has worked fine on envelopes until
this week, now the envelope will pass thru but comes out blank also when I
use a plain sheet of paper and click to print envelope it too comes out
blank. I have removed and reloaded Office 2000 as well as the printer
software. Sounds like maybe a setting that I cannot find? Any help will be
appreciated.
