Trouble accessing shared resource from Win98SE to Win2K Pro

Siz

I am getting dialog box to input password for IPC$ resource when I am trying
to access a shared folder on Win2kPro machine from Win98SE. Though created
the user I used to logon to Win98 on Win2K with admin rights, but problem
persists.

Any help would be apprecited.

Thanks,
Siz

On the Windows 2000 Pro computer you must create a user with the same name
(and password, if one is used) that is used to log onto the Windows 98 PC.
You must also log onto the Windows 98 PC, not press Esc when the network
logon screen appears.

I am using Windows Logon instead of other options available in Network
Options in Win98. In this case, it won't be asking me the User id and
Password to logon to the network.

Though I have created a User account on Win2K same as the machine name of
Win98. But the problem still persists :-(

Any more help ?
