We have 5 PC's in a peer to peer network (3 win2K, 2 Win98SE). You can see
all five PC's under network places from any PC, however if you try to access
shared resources from a W2K PC to a Win98SE PC, you receive the following
message:

//dfb-001 is not accessible, the parameter is incorrect.

Note: //dfb-001 is the name of one of the Win98 computers on the network.
You can access shared resources from a Win98SE PC to any W2K PC or from any
W2K PC to another W2K PC.

Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

How are you trying to connect. It should be \\computername\share and not
file://share.

Also post the output of this command:
net view \\compname

Net Stat displays the five computers on the network.

You can see shared resources on the Win98 PC from the other Win98 PC, but
still not from the Win2k PC's.

Some other suggestions would be appreciated.
