Is this Trojan ruining your ability to use English ?
Cuz the way u right sux ! :)

Open a Command Prompt.

In the Command Prompt type the following...

CHKDSK C: /F

If it replies..
"Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process.
Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts?
(Y/N)"

Choose - Y

type; EXIT

Reboot the PC.

A full Check Disk will want to be performed, allow it.

When the Check Disk has completed...

Download MULTI_AV.EXE from the URL --
http://www.ik-cs.com/programs/virtools/Multi_AV.exe

It is a self-extracting ZIP file that contains the Kixtart Script Interpreter {
http://kixtart.org Kixtart is CareWare } 4 batch files, 6 Kixtart scripts, one Link
(.LNK) file, a PDF instruction file and two utilities; UNZIP.EXE and WGET.EXE. It will
simplify the process of using; Sophos, Trend, Kaspersky and McAfee Anti Virus Command
Line Scanners to remove viruses, Trojans and various other malware.

C:\AV-CLS\StartMenu.BAT -- { or Double-click on 'Start Menu' in C:\AV-CLS}
This will bring up the initial menu of choices and should be executed in Normal Mode.
This way all the components can be downloaded from each AV vendor's web site.
The choices are; Sophos, Trend, McAfee, Kaspersky, Exit this menu and Reboot the PC.

You can choose to go to each menu item and just download the needed files or you can
download the files and perform a scan in Normal Mode. Once you have downloaded the files
needed for each scanner you want to use, you should reboot the PC into Safe Mode [F8 key
during boot] and re-run the menu again and choose which scanner you want to run in Safe
Mode. It is suggested to run the scanners in both Safe Mode and Normal Mode.

When the menu is displayed hitting 'H' or 'h' will bring up a more comprehensive PDF help
file. http://www.ik-cs.com/multi-av.htm

To use this utility, perform the following...
Execute; Multi_AV.exe { Note: You must use the default folder C:\AV-CLS }
Choose; Unzip
Choose; Close

Execute; C:\AV-CLS\StartMenu.BAT
{ or Double-click on 'Start Menu' in C:\AV-CLS }

NOTE: You may have to disable your software FireWall or allow WGET.EXE to go through your
FireWall to allow it to download the needed AV vendor related files.

| In addition to David's reply, the name of the trojan would be helpful.

Hi Fitz:

Since there is no real cohesion in all the AV vendors naming convention for a given
infector, really what is needed is the AV vendor and the name that AV vendor said was a
Trojan.

Additionally, it is very helpful to know the fully qualified name and path of the file
declared as infected.

However, I get the feeling that the Trojan is pure speculation on the part of 'lostNspace'.

I'm sorry I don't use english, the way you think I should. I'll try to do
better, for you!
No, the trojan is in my computer system, not in my english system!!!
As far as knowing the name & ect. of it I don't, as far as knowing its a
trojan in it, I went all over Micosoft help & support, for days & thats where
I got the information...
as far as I can understand, it's "trojan crashIE" or "Dik.1393.Int" or
something similar. (not sure if I spelled that word right). Thank you for
your help any way I try it & let you know if that worked...

Realize that the ONLY way to communicate and get the best assistance is to use proper
English and do the best you can to convey your problem.

I wrote "Cuz the way u right sux " becuase this isn't a chat room for simple conversations.
You have a problem and I want to help you so what you write is all I have to go on. Thank
you for taking the time write as best that you can.

After you run the Check Disk utility and subsequently the Multi AV Scanning Tool, please let
me know your results.
