Hi guys

You have helped me out before so i'm hoping you can come to the rescue again. I appear to have downloaded a virus somewhere and every time i open internet explorer windows defender shows me a warning that a threat is found in the form of " TrojanDownloader:Win32/Renos.D2" sometimes the last bit changes. It then brings me onto a screen advertising "fantribes.com" and it plays music. I have avg running now and mcafee which came pre installed but nothing can clear it, i have scanned and rescanned and nothing comes up until i open ie. I have used Kaspersky scanner which found no threats either but it's still there. What can i do next! HELP!!

Relax... :)

I had a very similar problem on a laptop and all was fixed by installing this..
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Download, install then get the latest updates..
Reboot, then run a full scan in Safe Mode.

Reboot, then run a full scan again in normal boot mode...

Good luck! :thumb:
