Is there a way to accuratley monitor the time that IE (or any program) is
actually used?
A couple of scenarios:
1) A User opens IE first thing in the morning to the Intranet homepage but
doesn't look at it all day and then closes it. Usage should be about 5
seconds.
2) A User opens a REALLY long text page and doesn't refresh it but is
actively reading in it by scrolling down the page. Usage should show the
total time he's on the page.
3) Similar to #1: A user opens a page with an auto-refresh feature but
doesn't really look at it all day. Usage should be about 5 seconds.
My thought is to somehow monitor ACTIVE window time on the PC level. Is
there any way to do this? Anyone have any better ways?
Thanks,
