Transitions don't work if the presentation is restarted using a lo

I have a ppt presentation with perfectly working transitions.
If I insert a "go back to the first slide" button in the last slide, when I
use it the first slide is shown and nothing else happens (transitions are not
applied anymore).
Have you any suggestion to solve my problem?
Thanks in advance.

I must apologize because after my posting I found the solution some replies
forward.
But the question (to the ppt developers) is... given that I cannot
understand the reasons for this behavior, could you please fix this "bug"?
Thanks.

Hi Phil,

I'm not sure it is a bug. If you are doing a truly interactive presentation,
you might want to go back to a slide where the animations have finished.
They work around is to insert a blank slide before, sets its' transition to
zero and it will refire the next page.

Dear Glen,
You're right.
But I would prefer to decide this kind of behavior with a checkbox somewere
in the options. In fact I'm using PPT as a tool to generate simple prototypes
of user interfaces (each slide corrensponds to a single state of the
interface) and in my case it's normal to reset the timer for each slide
change, even if caused by an internal link.
Your solution in my case is rather impossible to adopt because the blank
slides would be quite the same number as the filled ones.
I hope to see this checkbox soon or later...
Thanks for your answer.
