transferring outlook express address book groups to Windows Mail

I'm transferring from outlook express to Windows Mail .

My emails and folders transferred OK but whenh I impoirted the address book
(12,500 addresses in about 150 groups), the addresses transferred OK but no
sign of my filing system.

Can anyone help?

With that large an address book you should probably be using a business
class program like Microsoft Outlook.

Which transfer method did you use for the contacts? The CSV format is not
capable of transferring group information. You should try importing from the
..wab file (File, Import, Windows Contacts, Windows Address Book File).
