When using the export option in Outlook 2003 to tranfer my e-mails in a .pst
file, I am getting the below error message

The operation failed. An object could not be found.

I have a new computer and I need to pull my old e-mail (Inbox, Saved and
deleted) off my laptop and put on the new dektop.

Any ideas on "why" am getting the error or how to work around it. I tried
saving them in a .csv file, which seemed to work fine for the contacts - but
not so with the e-mails.

Don't export - simply copy the .pst file, paste it on the new computer (NOT
overwriting the default .pst file) and then use Outlook's
File->Open->Outlook Data File.

I ran a full file search for *.pst file and came up with nothing. Is this
something I have to create? If so, could you please instruct on the process?
Thanks -

Turn on searching hidden/system folders.
