Reading Outlook 2007 in Outlook 2002

I work for an organisation that is still using Outlook 2002 (don't ask!!) and
want to be able to open e-mails and pst files saved in Outlook 2007 - is
there any way of doing this?

It's frustrating enough to be back using 2002 with it's lack of
functionality without the added irritation of not being able to access
e-mails. I've managed to import my contacts using a csv file but am still
failing with my calandar and e-mails.

You can't. You would have to create a file in "Outlook 97-2002" format for
it to be accessible in earlier versions.
