transfer of outlook express

I am trying to transfer my Outlook Express info to windows mail. I have
gone thru the set up but still can not access my mail or transfer my
address book. What other steps am I not doing?

If you want to transfer your old contacts list (address book), bring
along the .wab file. After you copy the files to a directory on the
hard drive of your new computer, but before you import them
into Windows Mail, make sure that the copies are read-write
instead of readonly.

Some information, such as your email accounts information, is hard
to transfer this way. You might look here:

These instructions were written for Outlook Express, but should
also work under Windows Mail if they don't call for the HTTP
protocol.
