Transfer files between users

How do you transfer files between different users in same
computer.
My Daughter has a file on desktop call unused desktop
items and she is the only one to access it how can I get
it to somewhere we can all use it. It is music files

Hi,

Either she needs to add access to the folder for other users, or you need to
take ownership of it. See:

There is a folder on the hard drive called "Shared Documents" Any files
in there are available to everyone.

Also, The "Unused Desktop Items" folder is created when Disk Clen-up is
run. Items that you don't select to keep on the desktop, items that don't
get used often, are placed here.

If you want to share desktop items. Right-click on the Start Button and
select "Explore All Users". You will get an Explorer Window displaying
..../Documents and Settings/All Users, .../Documents and Settings/<Your
account name>, .../Documents and Settings/<Daughters Account Name>, and
someothers. Anything inder .../Documents and Settings/<Your account name>
will only appear on your desktop. Anything under .../Documents and
Settings/All Users will be on eveyones desktop. Simply move Icons around
as needed.
