Tracking voting button responses on forwarded messages

I often use voting buttons in Outlook to do polling. I have a problem when I
want to add or remove people from the list or if someone can't find the
original message and requests a re-send. I have tried re-sending the
original message and/or forwarding the original message but the tracking
seems to get separated and the original list does not track responses from
re-sent or forwarded copies.

Does anybody know a way around this other than starting over with a new
message?
