Tracking unread in shared mailboxes ?

Hi, we just managed to setup shared mailboxes which is great. BUT the
read/unread flag is individual to all users in the workgroup. I.e. when I see
a new mail in the info@... inbox, it shows up as unread in my outlook, but my
collegue in the next office might already have seen it, read it and
responded. Any suggestions as how we can set this up to use it more a as
CRM-system ? Ideally I would like to be able also to see who in the workgroup
has responded and what they sent back.
