I am attempting to track down this recurring error ... I receive a Host

the Event log. Can anyone help me understand what is happening and how to
prevent the error? Thanks!

I'm having the same issue. Darned HP...

What issue? You haven't quoted any of the post to which you refer so there
is no context. This is actually a Usenet newsgroup in spite of the presence
of the (awful) web interface. Many folks use a newsreader to access
newsgroups and only download the recent messages so older messages in a
thread are not visible. That's why when replying to a thread it's standard
protocol to quote at least a part of the message to which you reply for
context. Better yet create a new post with your issue including relevant
details.

Vista comes with Windows Mail which is already set up for access to the MS
newsgroups under Microsoft Communities. I suggest you use that or another
newsreader of your preference to access these Usenet newsgroups.
