Can I show track changes in only part of a document? I have inserted a file
into a document following a section break. The first part of the document
SHOULD not show the track changes but the inserted file SHOULD show the track
changes. Can I do this?

Only if you've only made changes in the document with tracked changes on when
working in that section.

There's no way to tell Word to track only in one particular section when track
changes is active. But you don't always have to have track changes on...

Theoretically, you could probably use a macro that bases on events to check in
which section the cursor is, and turn track changes on/off. But it's fairly
advanced programming.
