TouchPAD

Hello
I have a Toshiba Satellite, P4 with Windows XP. My touch
pad doesn't work- although I can move the pointer, I
cannot select using the touch pad, but must use the
buttons.
What can I do?

The touchpad is likely made by Synaptics, you should be able to find the proper driver here
