Toshiba can't see wireless router

Paul

I have a Toshiba A45S250 Satellite Laptop with Atheros chipset
providing 802.11a/b/g connectivity. With the default settings, I'm
able to connect with a neighbor's D-link 802.11b router, but I'm
unable to even see my own Macsense 802.11b router. I have another
laptop that's able to see both systems via a Lucent 802.11b PCMCIA
card, so I know the router is working properly.

I've tried more permutations of configuration settings than I can
count, but nothing works. WEP is disabled and an SSID is set (I've
also tried unset), but to no avail. Also tried configuring XP to look
for the specific SSID, but again no luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Paul

try putting the computers ip address into the router to
recognize the computer individually
