Hi there,

Under Tools > Internet Options > General > Home Page, where it says "You can
change which page to use for your home page", all three buttons are grayed
out and non-functional for me.

I have had problems with hijacking long ago, but so far as I know, all of
that has long since been removed. Just every one in a while, my home page
will default back to some defunct Italian url, (usually after a browser
crash) and i will have to 'restore defaults' to get msn.com to be my
homepage.

Any advice on how to remedy this problem would be MUCH appreciated.

Ooops! Nevermind! I read a little deeper into the older posts and found my
answer.
( I downloaded the CWSShredder @
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html and it worked like a
dream!)

You may need to fix your registry:

http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/RepairTabs.reg
1) Restores the missing Tabs in IE (usually spyware related)
2) Unlocks the grayed-out Home Page section
3) Removes the Administrator message in Internet Options
