Tools Accounts not opening - v2000

I have an old version running under XP and am trying to edit my email account
information. When I select tools and accounts, it doesn't load. All other
tools functions work fine. It's been quite awhile since I've needed to
access this, so do not know when it started not to work. I loaded all fix
packs and updates required, rebooted and still nothing. Any suggestions?

And if you edit using the mail applet in the control panel, what then?
Allthough its not entirely clear what 'doesnt load'
