too many icons on desktop

1.) Lately, any time I save anything, or download anything it ends up on my desktop. How do I clear them from my desktop without deleting them from the computer. When I hit delete it wants to send them to my recycle Bin. If I hit "send" I don't know where to send them. Please help

2.) Spykiller just found 88 parasites on my computer and I don't know what to do to get rid of them either. Thank you

1- Select the icons of the concerned files (they should not have the
shortcut arrow on them). Right click and select cut. Open Windows Explorer
and go into your directory and right click and paste them.

2- Don't know about Spykiller, but download Adaware or Spybot (these are the
best) and get rid of them.

For the Icons I created a new folder one for game icons

another for computer utilities ect.. and placed the icons
in the folders for each.Much less cluttered

You can tidy the desktop up by:right click on
desktop,then click on"Arrange Icons by"then on "run
desktop cleanup Wizard"then "next",tick or untick boxes
the ones ticked will be saved to afolder on your
desktop,you can restore any shortcut by double clicking
on the folder,right click Icon then then "send to",then
desktop(create shortcut).
