A month ago when I right click on the START button on the lower left side of
my screen, the open, explore, seach and properties would pop up in less than
a second.

Now it takes 11-15 seconds for this pop-up to appear. Do anyone have an
ideas on how to fix the problem?

Right-Click Doesn't Work on Taskbar or Start Button:

Start>Run regedit [enter]

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer and
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

In the right-pane, delete the "NoTrayContextMenu" value (if exists).
This policy removes the context menus for the Start button, Taskbar,
and Notification area.

Or for an automated solution from MVP Kelly Theriot, run line 56 (right
hand side): http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Was not aware that right click does not acess Windows Exporer listed in
context box on Start button in XP. Placing Windows Explorer Icon in taskbar
must be the better solution for quick access. Plan to follow instructions to
remove context bar from Start Button & taskbar.

Thanks, Issue resolved.
