thumbs.db

In advanced options in explorer.exe I had "Do not cache thumbnails"
unchecked for a few weeks, now I've just put the tick back in but, there's
thumbs.db files in several folders, can I just delete them, or is there some
other "proper" way of clearing thumbs.db in explorer.exe ?

thumbs.db is the cache file. It can be deleted.
