My anti-virus found 2 threats on my computer. One is

both in the C drive and I can't/don't know how to delete
as Windows backe done of them up. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks

Turning off System Restore and then rebooting will delete the virus from
theses protected files. Turn System Restore back on after you reboot. Jym

System Restore can be found by right clicking My Computer / Properties /
System Restore tab. System Restore is a backup feature . It will start
backing up once you choose to turn it back on. This is a helpful feature ,
you can read about it in Help and Support. Reboot = turn off. Jym

Greetings --

To deal with issues caused by any sort of "adware" and/or
"spyware,"such as Gator, Comet Cursors, Xupiter, Bonzai Buddy, or
KaZaA, and their remnants, that you've deliberately (but without
understanding the consequences) installed, two products that are
quite effective (at finding and removing this type of scumware) are
Ad-Aware from www.lavasoft.de and SpyBot Search & Destroy from
www.safer-networking.org/. Both have free versions. It's even
possible to use SpyBot Search & Destroy to "immunize" your system
against most future intrusions. I use both and generally perform
manual scans every week or so to clean out cookies, etc.

Additionally, manual removal instructions for the most common
varieties of scumware are available here:

PC Hell Spyware and Adware Removal Help
