Cant delete lspak.dll (an adware threat) adware.virtumonde

I have gotten adware/spyware virus. Have gone through all Norton Antivirus
directions to delete all these files. I can't delete the lspak.dll from
computer and Norton Antivirus can't delete it either. This is still causing
pop-ups on my computer. I need to know how to get rid of this file and all
adware/spyware threats.

Try Ad-aware or spybot S&D or pest patrol

This lspak.dll is a tough #@# trojan. It has shutdown my Spybot
completely while removing it. When I run Adaware, it identifies the
trojan but when i try to remove it, a cryptic message appears that I
need to reboot, which doesn't remove it. Finally, I run Trend
PC-Cillin and when I try to do a scan, I get a message that the engine
can't be found. My virus software is hosed!!!!

So I tried my trusty HiJackThis program and it identified the DLL's,
and after I fix them and re-run the program, the dll's are still
there.

Yes, I did all these steps in both win 2000 and in SafeMode.

Typically I can delete all trojan DLL's when in SafeMode, not in this
case, I get an access denied in safe mode.

My question to the group is how do I physically stop or unregister a
dll?
I tried the following: Start|RUn and typed: regsvr32 u/
c:\winnt\system32\lspak.dll but I received an error and still
couldn't delete it.
