third party software opens and imediately close..no error messages

I loaded a software, NS Basic ( a pocket PC software development program), on
my Dell Inpirion 1000 laptop running windows home XP single user with the SP2
service pack update. All my programs open and close without problem. I have
also installed successfully other programs since the SP2 update.

The NS Basic software loads without error but when I open the IDE if opens
and imediatly closes leaving me at the desktop, with no warning, alerts or
messages ...I . Anybody have ideas? missing dll's, virus, registry conflict?

Try uninstalling/installing again.
Otherwise contact the manufacturer.

Check the event viewer to see if that gives a clue.
