Themes wont print

I've created a simple website at school and i'm required to make a print out, however when i go to print preview or try to print it the theme is not present, is there any way around this
Note: I can see the theme in design mode and preview.

Use File Preview in Browser and in your IE settings (Tools Internet Options Advanced) make sure you have print backgrounds selected
