new theme

I am a novice....learning this program on my own. The site was created and
managed by someone else. Now I am handling it. I am trying to make it more
visually appealing by using a "theme." The theme shows up in both "preview"
and "preview in browser." But, when I go the site itself, it does not show
up. I get a box across the top of the page that says the web host has
blocked some content that might be harmful. Is that why I cannot see my
theme?

Please help......in plain terms please!! Many thanks!

Are you saying you applied a theme to an existing site?
If so you might have some problems because you normally apply a theme to a new empty
site and then start building the site.

That said, post a link to the site so someone can take a look at it.
