I am writing in hope that you can help with a problem that
I am having publishing my web site using Microsoft Front
Page 2000. I have built the web site
(www.themightyskunk.co.uk) using the Front-Page program &
publish it using 'Smart FTP' to transfer it onto my
service provider 'Clara.net'. Prior to using Front Page I
published my web site with Microsoft Word & had no
problems.
The problem that I am encountering is that when I upload
my web site to the server I lose the features of the
applied theme (ie. the back ground, bullets & navigation
bar icons).
I have contacted Clara.net who have confirmed that their
server does support Front Page 2000 (but not 2002).
Is this a common problem or am I overlooking something
obvious?
Is there any FTP software that you recommend for use with
Front Page? Ant assistance that you can offer is greatly
appreciated.
Could you please direct any response to Michael.hagan
(remove this)@virgin.net
Many thanks
