The World Wide Web Publishing service hung on starting.

Hello, can anyone help?

My Windows XP Pro 'goes slow' for about two minutes when
it is booted and I get a "The World Wide Web Publishing
service hung on starting." entry in the System Event log.

I have Norton Internet Security installed and the first
thing that happens after the system starts responding
normally is that it loads the parental control list.

Any help would be most appreciated.
