the windows picture and fax viewer

On my old computer (a windows me), i was able to decrease
the printing size for pictures that i wanted. This was
especially good for audio CD's. On xp however, there is
no 'image preview.' Instead there is 'windows picture and
fax viewer' in which you can only choose from the the
default menu what size you want your picture to be
printed at. How can I choose what size i want? Is there
any way you can install the image preview that was on
millenium edition. It was so much easier to use! please
help! Please post or email me your answer! Thanks!

Glenn,

When you're printing from the Picture and Fax Viewer, are you using the
Photo Printing Wizard (PPW) to print the photos? If not, by clicking the
Printer button on the toolbar, you can use PPW and choose different sizes
to print the photo. I don't think it is possible to take the viewer from
Windows ME and use it on Windows XP. If you're trying to get more options
for sizes to print things, you'll either need to use the sizes available in
the PPW or possibly use MS Paint or other software to size images to the
size you want to print.
