When I dial a number through outlook autodialer I can hear the other person
but they can't hear me. Also, when I hit the talk button it drops my calls.
Do I need some special software or headset to us it?

Exactly what are you doing with what?

If you've got telephony on your computer you must of course have at least a
microphone.

Outlook uses the Windows dialer only. It has no support for voice modems.

I was using my plantronics microphone to make calls to my contacts through
outlook. In my dialing options it is set to datafax softmodem. I also saw
h323 line and I am not sure if I am supposed to use that or the softmodem.
sorry if i sound stupid it is kind of hard to explain something when the
person is not in front of you. Thanks for your help.
