How do I set up telephone calls from outlook with a headset?

When I make a call from outlook and the call connects, I can hear the other
person, but they can't hear me. I know the microphone is working and I know
the headset works.

Also when I click 'talk' the call is hung up!

Any suggestions? I am using Windows XP and Outlook 2003.

Outlook uses the Windows dialer which has no support for voice modems. You
can only talk through a handset plugged into your modem.
