contacts calling

I am attempting to call my contacts through Outlook. I have a Netcom 9350
usb/tel headset. Outlook dials and connects with the number fine. I can hear
my voice on the speaker system, when I click talk, the phone hangs up. I have
a Sound Blaster Audgy sound card.

That would be expected. Outlook uses the Windows dialer, which has no
support for voice modems. It can dial and connect. Period.

I doubt it. Outlook can only use the Windows dialer. Whether anyone had
developed third party software to support voice modems from Outlook is
anyone's guess.
