Any phone dialers that integrate with Outlook?

M

MICROSOFT

I want one program (is this called Contact Management?) where I can
contact people by clicking an email link, IM (Skype, MSN, Yahoo) and most
importantly phone dialing. In the same place I can click their email
address I want to be able to click their phone number and have it dial. I
will hear the dialing on my computer speakers because its using a phone
modem (is USB best?). When they pick up I should be able to talk to them
with the phone modem through the computer mic. If this isn't possible
I'll have to pick up the phone and hang up the computer connection - not a
good solution. Any recommendations? In the future I'd like to run my
life on my laptop and the phone will be part of it. I hate cell phones
with their poor voice quality so I'm concentrating on POTS (traditional)
phone lines as my calls are important. Also if I'm calling a cell, its
much better if one of us has a good line. If both of us have lousy
connections communication is severely hampered.

Modem drivers are what control whether it connects with outlook and if a
speakerphone works with the dialer.

Honestly, if you are concerned about quality, you'd use a handset, not a
speakerphone on the computer. Even with a headset, the quality is usually
not as good as a decent phone.
