the server is not configured for transactions

I have 3 computers on a local workstation network. If I
click "My Network Places, Computers Near Me" I receive an
error message after about a minute. The error message
is "The server is not configured for transactions."

Any ideas why this would happen? How can I correct it?

If I go to one of the other computers on the network,
click "My Network Places, Computers Near Me", the names of
all 3 computers comes up. When I click on this computer it
asks to sign on and wants a name and password???

Make sure all computers are in the same workgroup and that all useraccounts
exist on all computers. Got File- and printersharing loaded?
