The PCReview 'Show Us Your Desktop Background' Thread

Oh great, what a beautiful village that is and so close to the coast, great in the summer and sea fishing if you are into that sort of thing.

Heres mine reduced from 1080p, matches my avatar. :D

Edit: Not strictly my desktop, but its one of the other screens I'm often looking at - my Nexus 6P. :)

Again its been resized down from 1440x2560. (I still find it odd to think my phone's 5.7 inch display is a higher resolution than my monitor and my TV!)

In the 1980's I had a Honda CB550cc that was a great bike loved it. Then I had my accident in the Fire Service which ended that career and riding bikes.

The Honda CB550 was a 544 cc (33.2 cu in) four-cylinder standard motorcycle made by Honda from 1974 to 1978. It is a development of the earlier CB500, and like its predecessor, the original CB550K had 4 exhaust pipes and 4 silencers. The CB550K went through some minor iterations, the last being the CB550K4. Shortly after the CB550K was introduced, a second version of the CB550 was offered, the CB550F "Super Sport". .The "K" and "F" versions were sold alongside each other, sharing the same engine, tank, instruments, lights, wheels, brakes and frame. The "F" featured a lighter 4-into-I exhaust/silencer kit, fewer chrome trimmings, different side panels and slightly flatter handlebars — as part of the Honda Super Sport range which included the CB400F, CB550F and CB750F. The "F" (aka "F1") was succeeded by the "F2", which had an additional flash emblem on the fuel tank with deletion of the fork gaiters. The 'K' was styled similarly to the 1969 Honda CB750, and fit into Honda's range as the CB750's junior.

Both F & K models had a drum rear brake and a single front disc brake, although each fork slider had a bracket for a brake caliper.

The CB550 was based closely on the earlier wet sump CB500, and was the largest factory boring of this SOHC air-cooled cylinder block. Having a few visual similarities to the dry sump CB750, the CB550 was much smaller and lighter. The CB550 was replaced in 1979 by the Honda CB650 which was broadly similar but significantly more powerful.

@bootneck02 when I was younger I had a CB900F. A friend had a CBX1000 and that's when my love for them started. Owning a CBX 1000 is on the very top of my bucket list. I would love to own one and rebuild it using modern running gear like in the pic I posted. :)

Well I haven't changed my desktop background since the last time I posted it, but here's my phone wallpaper:

The Picture is of some ornamental onions I grew up in Cumbria luckily they survived the move and have flowered down here in Wales. The Window Maker theme I made up by recycling everything from another theme and using my own background. The bokeh effect for the background was achieved by using a thirty year old manual telephoto lens on my Pentax K30.The title bars could have been a tad darker green but I do not have the time to fine tune at the moment. I call this theme Purple Balls.

Making some progress with Window Maker. Just have to organise my favourite tux icons and I'll be happy. Well I would be happy if I could get a volume control dock-app to work in a stable fashion.

Is no one else posting shots ?
