I am running XP-SP2, IE6 and when I use IE to go to my Hotmail account it
says the Page Cannot be Displayed - Cannot Find Server.. I cannot use
Outlook Express to send picture attachments from Hotmail either. I am not
sure if the problem is IE or Outlook or Hotmail.. Anyone have any idea? Thanks

problems with or is it the entire internet that u cannot
access.... if that is the only page proceed to step 2

Step 2:
Type the following address on your browser
http:\\64.4.33.7 just as it is... if that takes you to
the login page of hotmail.... Problem maybe with your isp
dns server not being able to resolve friendly names
if that does not work step 3

Step 3:
Chk you internet settings either reduce the internet
settings to medium if they are at high
chk advanced settings and see if ssl boxes are checked

"badasss (themovie)" Step 2 worked fine.. I went right into my Hotmail..
Thanks for the address. I will save for future use..
Siljaline.. Thank you for the links.. I found one that sent me to another
and I did a reset on TCP/IP.. IE now works great for Hotmail..
I still have a problem with Outlook Express that no one on the Outlook group
knows about. I know this is not the place to post this but if you know
anything about Socket Error 12019 Error Number 0x80004005 from Hotmail when
I try to send a picture attachment from Outlook Express I would greatly
appreciate it..
Thanks again for your help..
