the nasty white line

I am having a problem with a white line going vertically through my print. I
have tried page alighnment, cleaning cartridges and new cartridges. What to
do, would appreciate any info

It may be time to replace the print head...... unfortunately at that stage,
it's often cheaper to replace the printer.

Cari is very likely correct with the replacement bid. But, if you have
the printhead alignment feature and an alignment sheet, try that with your
printer before trashing it. Printhead alignment is not the same as page
alignment.
